Secure Set is a two component, high density, closed cell foam that when properly mixed in equal parts, will activate creating an expanding foam post hole filler. When poured as a combined liquid into the appropriate sized hole, it will quickly expand and transform into high density foam, stabilizing the post and creating a secure foundation that adheres to both the post and the soil. Due to its analogous properties and reliability, it is often referred to as “foam cement for fence posts”.

Secure Set can be used to set posts of all types, shapes and materials. They can be square, round, wood, steel, or vinyl. Secure Set, is an inert plastic, is environmentally green with zero impact on the environment.

Secure Set is the best solution as a replacement to other post setting products, such as concrete. It securely anchors fence posts, mailboxes, birdhouses, low level decks, garden enclosures, ranch corrals, utility poles, street, and traffic signs.

Secure Set is fast and simple to use, requires no heavy lifting, no need for water, virtually no cleanup and it is competitively priced to alternative products. The strength, longevity and ease of use of Secure Set far outweigh all other competing products.

    Sounds like excellent value!

We have not been able to use the product yet because we’ve been having a lot of rain.

Nice alternative to concrete. Foam is super durable and dries quickly. I had some challenges mixing and pouring quickly enough before SecureSet started hardening; however, I got more efficient as I progressed. The trick is to use a new and clean 32 oz paper cup with every new hole. What is more, don’t spend too much time mixing and you should pour immediately after mixing.

Great stuff! My only complaint is I wish you would include more than one scraper stick

The order came as scheduled and so far the project is going well.

Worked great, 4x4PT posts in 8″x28″ deep hole, super dry here as we’ve had no rain all summer.

Used post hole digger as deep as it would go, put some gravel in bottom of hole, set in post, level it (use 1 brace on 2 faces at 45deg, put 1×1 stake in ground where brace touches ground, c-clamp brace to stake, adjust level of post by loosening c-clamp and sliding brace through it, tighten c-clamps when level), threw the rocks I dug up back in around the post, add extra fist sized rocks to fill hole, mixed up Secure Set in a 1/2 gallon ziplock bag (the kind made for soup, it stands by itself), just knead it for 15 seconds, dump it in hole through rocks. 15 minutes later it’s like it’s been set in concrete. Trimmed of the little extra that extends above ground with a drywall saw.

Post is 52″ tall and when you pull on it, the post itself bends. Hung a 8′ wide gate on it and it is solid. Was able to do 5 posts in one day all by myself (digging holes too). Great stuff, will use and recommend.

    Very easy to use

Amazing product. Easy to mix and easy to pour. Only issue was that one of the mixing measuring cups was packed improperly and was broken when i received the product. But thats an easy cheap 1 dollar replacement. The secure set Part A and B were in perfect condition.

Also, the excel sheet that was sent to me through my email and the instructions on the bottle made mixing the proper amounts very VERY easy.

Great product just wish it cost a bit less so i could use it for many more posts.

This stuff is great. I followed the instruction and measurements exactly and the product performed as advertised. I actually ordered twice as much as I needed because of some of the reviews I read about the product only filling half the hole. I didn’t need it, it worked great. Only negative was one of the measuring cups was crushed. The company was willing to correct the problem. Very satisfied and will recommend to all my contacts.

I must have called at least 6 times trying to figure out if this product would help my situation. The staff were both helpful and eager to assist. Fortunately, it worked like a charm securing my tub. Thanks.

I ordered the kit to fill a continuing void beneath walk out basement stairs. It was easy to mix and slip (pour) into two entrances. After expanding and hardening, I was able to easily saw off excess and cover with soil and grass seed. Appears to solved the erosion issues splendidly.

This stuff is awesome! I used it to set some metal posts for a chain link fence and it worked GREAT! I made a mess with the first 3 posts but after trouble shooting a bit, I was able to get it down to a science. Another review I had read mentioned using zipper bags to do the mixing and I highly recommend that. I was using quart sized bags and mixing 8oz each of A and B and was able to have plenty of room to do a good thorough mix without fear of too much pressure build up. Then you just cut the tip off one end and you have a nice funnel through which to pour your mix. All posts set up nicely!

I am in the electrical construction trade and we have utilized Secure Set in many utility poles, temporary power panel structures, and direct bury light poles and have had amazing success for the past 5-6 years. This product allows us to set poles that normally took hours to set up with concrete or that the tamping process would over time start to allow the pole to lean. This product greatly reduces these tendencies and we can achieve this in about 30 minutes with proper preparation and strict adherence to the product installation guides. It gives us the peace of mind the poles will be solid for many years to come as it does not break down and it also eliminates the possibility of voids in the soil compaction process as it expands to fill the entire area. Another great feature of the product is that you can pour it in lifts without the worry of what is called checkering. As with concrete or tamping when you install in layers it allows potential voids between the layers to form air pockets that water or some other substance can enter and either freeze or solidify and weaken the area around the structure you are supporting. This product eliminates this process and for a simple explanation melts and welds to the top of the initial pour and expands into any voids so no air pockets can form and creates a solid structure support. Also with the packaging of the product they send it with all the tools needed (besides a drill) to utilize the product including mixing cups and stir paddles for a drill. This makes remote locations much easier without the need to lug water around and minimizes the amount of equipment needed to install these structures. By MSE electrical Construction

This was our third purchase as we have been installing our fence in sections. If you’re hesitant to purchase, don’t be. Secure Set works as promised. Our fence has made it through several tropical storms here in FL and a hurricane. No damage at all. Super easy to use and you can hang your panels very quickly after it sets. Well worth it!

I have used other foam products in the past for setting mailboxes and a few fence post. I found those products seem to fail at keeping the post stable. I used secure service for an electric fence and must say I am impressed with strength.

I’ve used this product many times instead of concrete for the base of radio towers over the years and have never been disappointed. It’s a lot less hassle, less expensive and I think it works better than concrete. Very satisfied customer!

This worked exceptionally well to anchor the 4×4 posts on my privacy fence panels. It took just minutes to harden up! Word of caution: dont let the parts A and B set in the heat all day, otherwize you’ll have to be really quick with mixing and pouring before it expandes. I was working in 95 degree heat.

  25. Carlos Rubiano

I didn’t know the foam can raise the post when gravel is placed below the post.

  26. Stephen Rivera

I can’t think of a single negative. Lightweight. Easy to use. Saves time.

Having always use sakrete for fence posts in the past, using Secure Set was a breeze (and much easier on my back)! Using the product was very straightforward and worked just as advertised. Highly recommend!

Really great foam. I used it to level out a concrete slab that had shifted and sunk. Some tips. 1, don’t use the provided mixer. Takes too long to mix and the foam will take off before all of the marbling is gone. Get some gas station big buddy soda drink cups and lids and place a piece of tape over the straw hole. Place part B in the cup first since it’s way thicker and then place part A in. Cap it, mix it like a cocktail, and pour it. Works great. I also add a little more part B to the mix than A. Because since part B is so much thicker you end up leaving more in your part B measuring cup than you leave part A in your part A measuring cup. So to get a true 50/50 mix you need to place about 8.5 to 9 oz of B to 8 oz of A. A great way to tell if your mix is off is if the foam is crumbly. If that’s the case then your final foam mix is light on part B. Thus why you add a little more. Don’t worry about running out of B at the end of your gallon jugs either. The first of 3 two gallon sets I bought I had a lot of part B left over after A was gone. Also compared to boat hull foam or fast 2k post hole foam secure set is cheaper and covers from a great company to work with. Couldn’t be happier.
Oh and just an FYI I found that each combined ounce of secure set part A and B equals 0.020 cubic feet of expanded foam. Cheers!
